New SCR950 for cheap

On the SCR950 Facebook page someone reported that a Yamaha dealer in Saint Charles Missouri has new SCR950s for $2999. I haven't verified the validity but I thought I would let you guys know just in case someone wants a spare or their friend wants one.

Thank you for the info. Just don't forget to ask for an out the door price that includes ALL of the dealers fees, tax, registration, etc. My local dealer had one for sale ( and STILL has it! ) in April 2018 for $1000 more
( with fees ) than the one I bought near Milwaukee. It really does pay to shop around. Jevers

Here it is, but no mention of cost of 'fees', other than 'Add $400 for cash sales', and this:

'Sale price excludes destination charges, optional accessories, applicable taxes, installation, setup and/or other dealer fees.'

https://www.bigstcharlesmotorsports....egory=Standard

Guess you could call and figure out what it would cost.

I sent them a request for an out the door price, less tax, as I'm from Minnesota. Their website shows that they have 38! SCR 950s in stock!!!! Not a single RED one in the bunch. I will update yous alls when I hear back from Big St. Charles. Jevers

Someone with proper resources (cash & talent) could probably purchase all 38 of them at a greatly reduced price and then create one off custom bikes making a decent profit on each and every one.

I have no facts to back that up.......

Nor do I have the cash or talent to try it on even one or two. But there's a guy in MN who is already checking it out.

Funny, Schu, I was just thinking that very same thing! I literally just got off the phone with Big St. Charles and here's the skinny...
$2999 SCR950 Charcoal only
$ 758 dealer setup
$3757 out the door.
PLUS tax, title, license in your home state. Still, a fantastic buy!
You must finance with them or pay an additional $400.
You can pay the loan off early with no penalties.
AANNNDDD..... being charcoal, it would be less painful repainting the tank a nice Yamaha yellow with DT400 decals!!!!!!
C'mon Schu, sell a few of your old enduros and back me! We can get Eddie out of retirement to make up some seat straps!!🤣 Jevers

So it will crack $4k for the true OTD price. Man that's $2,500 less than I paid for mine OTD. And I don't have one in Charcoal Gray yet.

Can't do it Jevers. I promised I was going to stop buying bikes about 4 bikes ago, and I'm a man of my word.

But you on the other hand. You recently sold a bike with a footprint of at least 2 maybe 3 normal bikes. You have the space and the cash.

Wait for it........Wait for it....

I get compliments on my SCR all the time. People think they look cool, but they don't sell. Why is that Ben? Why did the SCR belly flop?
