New

Hi I'm Sarah, just bought this bike last April (had 3 miles on it when I purchased from dealership) Ended the year with a little over 1k miles, so didn't get a ton of riding in last year. I'm planning on doing a lot of weekend trip this riding season & motocamping so I'm trying to get all decked out for those adventures ahead. I've been riding motorcycles since 2012, but new to touring & motocamping, so I'm open to advice. My profile pic is some bags I just purchased & trying to decide to keep or not. So glad this forum exists & excited for the upcoming season! Thanks all!

Welcome to the forum! I've not done any motocamping myself, but it sounds like a lot of fun. Can't tell from the small pic, but I think those bags you have on the back would serve your purposes nicely. Maybe get a nice travel backpack for any extra supplies you'll need to carry? And a (not so) innocent plug for myself, I make a storage solution that fits under the seat that can maximize your cargo: You could use this to off-board any smaller items from your bigger bags like tools/gloves/first aid/snacks. I personally keep a first aid kit, tire gauge, insurance card, fuses, and rubber gloves in mine with space to spare.

Happy trails!

Hey Kristopher! I've already got "nice side bag" comments on the one you made me, I'm really liking it. Thanks also for recommending joining this forum too, what a fun bike!

I've bought four different styles of bags from Krixtoph and I'm not gonna lie, I like the little cross bar bag the most of all. I wear hearing aids, so they have to come on and off with my helmet and need to be stored somewhere safely. The bag actually holds quite a bit for its size. And I had him add two loops that allow me to clip my OtterBox phone case same as you would clip it to your belt. Makes for easy viewing of my GPS as well. Not sure why he doesn't have a link for the crossbar bag. It's the handiest bag of all. Only one problem....the magnetic latches aren't strong enough to keep it shut when loaded to the extend that I do. So I have a Velcro strap I wrap around the two leather loops. Problem solved.
(Wish I knew why my photos occasionally load upside down. Eddie usually fixes them for me)
