The Scramblers after all, do get about 50 mpg . . .
Too late, I've moved. Greetings from San Antonio, y'all! As for that fuel mileage, you must be strictly abiding by the posted speed limits, because I tended to get less than 40 mpg. Part of that was swapping to the Koso gauge; the stock one clocked distances and speeds about 10% above reality.

Sorry, friend. I sold the custom Corbin and all my other accessories. And I was always a cowboy. I grew up here, so this is something of a homecoming for me.

Time for me to ride off into the sunset, y'all. Happy trails!

Don't back up into any yucca plants with your tail end if you get near the outskirts of the desert there.

Very nice! (But then, you knew I’d say that, right.....??)

I think the one with gold forks is the XE model too (as in, Expensive), as opposed to the XC one (as in, Cheap(er)?)

Go for it! 👍

If you're looking for a new bike, check out Royal Enfield's lineup. I had a chance to sit on a bunch of them at a motorcycle show pre-COVID and they were really nice. Classic look and very affordable.

@Krixtoph I've long had my eye on the RE 650s. I also went to one of their demo events way back in the before-times, and I loved the INT in particular. The 3-year warranty is what really clinches it for me. The only thing that would make it better in my eye is if it came styled as a scrambler. I'm at this point in my search where my upstairs brain wants the RE and my other brain wants the Triumph.
