Another Tail Mod

Hello, this is my first post, hopefully its helpful.

Like many on here I did a license plate relocation/LED tail light. Mine is only a little different in that I added two of the LED strips, one on the frame bar where most people add it, and the other bellow the fender, as you can see in the picture.

The reason I put two on here is because when I have a passenger, or if I have a tail bag mounted, sometimes it would obstruct the upper light. To mount the lower light I took a 3/8 vinyl tube, and attached it at the bottom edge of the fender, and then added some hot glue, and finally electrical tape (mainly for color) I wired the two LED wire sets together, and then to the wiring from the bike. I added an LED flasher relay, and cleaned up the wiring. I have also added LED front turn signals, and license plate lights. Hopefully if you have been wanting to do a LED conversion this may help.

I like that look regardless of the reason about possible blocking off the upper light.

And it is probably more visible at night.

I guess it will cost a little over $100 if you know what you're doing.
