Well, this should be fun. After waiting almost a week for a tracking number for the bracket set, I finally got one today. The exhaust I ordered on eBay was shipped from Nevada, the bracket set looks like it’s coming straight from China! 🤣

If your Danmoto is too loud maybe repack it. My megaphone seemed to get a little louder so opened it up to find the smallest amount of wadding I've seen... I've repacked it properly thus time...

Well, I have to say Danmoto US (through their eBay site) came through. They express shipped me the bracket set from their China factory. Was in NH in three days. Probably cost as much to express it from China as any profit they made from the kit. So good on them.

I'll update on how the install went.

A friend of mine sold his SCR and he had bought a aftermarket pipe so he had his OEM pipe sitting around. I took a hole saw and cut out the cap inside. This only took about 5 minutes to cut and 15 minutes to get the piece out when it fell inside!
Bike runs fine and has a great throaty sound..........Best mod I've done.......The Bolt riders have done this for years without problems.

2017 SCR red fastest....... 2nd one!

Here is the exhaust / intake option I went with. I think that NOW SHE LOOKS LIKE A DAMNED SEXY BEAST! Notice how much knee room I gained over the Velociraptor. The Cobra is lower and farther forward. It seems to stick out about as far as the horn. There is quite a noticeable increase in POWER. But, she is waaaaaay louder than I had anticipated. No quiet baffle, either. If this is my mid-life crisis, I'm gonna live to be 110 years old! Jevers

That pipe may change my mind. It looks BadAss. I mean, like how loud can it really be.......

Besides, the first thing I do is take off my hearing aids before I put on my helmet.

It's LOUD, but it has a really nice rumble to it when you are going easy on the throttle and when decelerating. It is pretty obnoxious when you DO get on the throttle, but it is a motorcycle after all. Now it is MY turn...
Do it, Schu, DO IT!!!!!!! Jevers

Ha. You think that pipe is loud. You should've heard my wife when I told how much that pipe cost. Man I thought I had it in my cart. It didn't help that I just spent half that amount on two seat kits for my old Enduros. I'll come back around to it.... it's all about timing.

Awwww, Man! You're going about it all wrong. Do what I did, take the It's easier to beg forgiveness than it is to ask permission approach! She was somewhat ok with the pipe, wasn't too crazy about the reflash and I chickened out on the intake and never did tell her about it. Now.... How much are these Koso meters?!😜 Jevers
