Greetings from Philly

Hi all,

I've been riding my new SCR950 (and lurking on this forum) for the last couple weeks and figured it was time to say hello here.

The SCR is a gorgeous bike, and I don't think that in terms of $/cc that you can find a much better deal out there. I'm a huge fan of scramblers and flattrackers, and with the time I spend working on my '71 Honda, I wanted an everyday rider and I couldn't pass up this opportunity.

I'm 5'8" and 150lbs, and the SCR is admittedly a little big for me, both in height and weight. I'm very interested in trying to lower it a bit and possibly get the ECU reflashed to smooth it out at low speeds. Honestly, I've been thinking about just selling it to get something a little smaller and more practical for me. I'd love to hear any thoughts the smaller riders on this forum might have on the subject.

In any case, thanks for having me!

-Matt

Matt,

Did you keep the SCR or move to something else? I'm curious.

At your height, the Bolt would be a nice fit as it sits a full 3" lower than the SCR.

I'm about the same build so I know where they were coming from, but after two years I'm worried anything smaller than this bike will feel like a toy.
