Teaser price to get you in the door. Then come the add-on fees like delivery, dealer prep, extended warranty, tax, license etc. I’d get the out-the-door price in writing on a final sales contract before closing the “deal.”

Bought my SCR from Ride Now in Gainesville, FL.

$4499 + fees, and a free helmet. Would definitely do business with them again.
I found it @ ride now a few days ago for $3999 but their fees totaled to $2300. I am thinking of driving a long way to get one from IL. Yea kinda hard when you have no car, but how much did they bite you for the fees ?

Would have to look at the paperwork again for an exact amount, but I want to say fees were somewhere between 1000 - 1400.

Is it a case of mistaken identity, or do you have a Bolt?! :nerd:
Ben
I was on the bolt forum aspiring to buy a SCR.

Of course with the dead truck, the car that wont make it past the state line and 4 different jobs in 6 months = no bolt or SCR.

I'm hoping to get a SCR in a few weeks when I stumbled on this forum, and decided I am going to pitch my lot with you fine folks.
I'll try not to make a new mess hopefully.

Ha ha - sounds bad. And welcome to the dark side (or should that be the light side?!)

Hope you can get one soon. I got mine Saturday in Illinois, took the train down with my wife. $3999 but 4944 Otd. Took the scenic route home, 530 miles back home in Wisconsin. Was a great ride, but man did my butt hurt. Really need to break the seat in.
Yes Holzhauer right - Who was your sales person ? I've been talking to Kim for months now. And how was it 4944 OTD, I'm @5289 but maybe they don't collect sales tax for your home state - For SC they bite me for $310.

I hope I can get one soon too.

For right at $200, this could make a HUGE positive difference in comfort. I have no regrets at all and had the seat recovered with new foam at home in under an hour.

I used to park my bike outside for most of their lives with me atleast. The seats with a lot of stitches and edge piping etc used to collect water and bug me. Worst are those deep buttons put into some of those 90's cruisers like a Vulcan 750 or viragoes.

The Seat Concepts kit comes with a plastic barrier to go between the cover and the foam. I used 3M 77 spray adhesive to tack it to the foam while the cover was installed. The canvas covers I use allow some rain through and I've yet to have a damp seat come time to ride.

I was looking at Rideon in Jacksonville and they never contacted me back. I found a Silver SCR with only 2400 miles, new tires, heated grips and a wind screen for $4199 OTD. I bought it yesterday. Loving it

Lucky you, the used ones I can find are all 6K and up. Ride now has $2400 add on fees, other dealers are 1/2 that. Anyway Holzhauer has 30 of these now listed, hope one of those is mine, maybe in winter/fall. Holzhauer has ~1300, a very reasonable add on charges.
