So is that like the third aftermarket exhaust for you?So, whilst ordering my YSS fork springs, my hand may have “accidentally” (read: “on purpose”) navigated me to an Italian site selling Arrow Exhaust products instead.
Lovely thing it is, too…..arrived this morning. Even more pleasing - this one, for whatever reason, doesn’t have the juvenile-looking “Rebel” badge on it (God forbid……it’s not a Honda) - last picture - and instead just has a badge with the regular Arrow logo on it…..much more preferable, IMO.
So……the springs might have to wait a couple of months now, or else I’ll be hung, drawn and quartered

Yes, I am ridiculous. And you sound like the missusSo is that like the third aftermarket exhaust for you?
That's a good looking exhaust. And I can't give you too much grief. I have about $1,500 dollars invested in 2-stroke expansion chambers. 2 that are fitted on bikes and three recent ones waiting for spring to be fitted. The problem is finding pipes that fit these old bikes from the 70s because there are no aftermarket pipes being made anymore. I recently scored two that were new in the box never mounted. Finally got around to fitting it today - took some lining up, but we got there in the end 👍
Now just waiting for some nicer weather - I don’t ride in pea soup, like old hardy @JRX

How’s it going Stu? How’s the Suzuki treating you….?I hear that Greta regularly checks motorcycle forum's for people who have made changes.
Scorpion! Very nice - factory is 5 mins (ok, maybe 10) for the old mans’ house.Day 4 covid isolation Ben so far too much time on my hands. Can and screen fitted to strom....... I'm sure better days are coming for the annual dales SCR meet.
I resemble that remark! not my fault, we have weather here , next hill over is completely different to the previous valley 🤣Finally got around to fitting it today - took some lining up, but we got there in the end 👍

We’re gonna need another YouTube video. Your old video from 3 years ago constantly pops up in my recommended videos. So, I finally got to take the bike out for the first time today (after pissing about with the oil for an hour, that is…..went to check it first, and it had that horrible milky texture to it that comes from moisture getting in somehow……no idea how that happened, and I’ve never experienced it before. Luckily, there’s a bike shop nearby, so I dropped and replaced, and alls good).
Anyway ……. the Arrow sounds great!! Much louder than I was expecting (sans baffle, of course). In fact, on my drive, echoing between the two houses, I’d have sworn it was not much quieter than the Danmoto. Having said that, the SCR has what Ryan Fortnine calls a ‘heavy’ exhaust note anyway……in reality, on the move, it’s not as aurally abusive as the Danmoto.
It’s definitely louder than the Akrapovic though, and I think it also sounds nicer too. It’s very hard to describe, but it has a kind of low ‘wumph wumph’ sound. I have filmed it on my iPhone, but the sound quality is crap. Once or twice on the move though, both accelerating and rolling off, I commented to myself how nice it sounded….like I say, in my opinion, a considerable improvement over the Akra, whilst not being as downright offensive as the Danmoto, which is exactly what I was going for!!
In the words of Captain Hans Landa: “that’s a bingo”!!!
