I've got some figuring out to do. I've got a rear fender rack coming from Germany that i'll modify for a top case. But I need to figure out a mounting system for my Cheap Home Depot side cases. So here I go. Here are some pics, you'll get the idea. I know it may be a little goofy, but I think its a fun little project.

I like these Rigid cases. Plenty of tie down options and watertight. $29 for the side cases and $39 for the "Top Case" tool box thingy.

Case in the pic is just loosely sitting there. Just wanted to get a rough idea.

or you can do like me and get this one /forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
The fact that you can fit a watermelon and a few other items in that thing is amazing.
You know... Ever since I put this box on the bike... And I am really using it as a vehicle
Coz I put my vest and helmet, then walk free in the store...
Before I had to carry them around and bike was only for shorter distances

Now considering aluminum tusk panniers too...

I like your ideas. I wish I could trust something like that in my city, but San Francisco is basically a Mad Maxian hellscape when it comes to vehicle break-ins. I've had my eye on a couple of all-but-bulletproof cases, but so far I haven't found the right one for my budget.

I know... I'd never leave any valuables in that box if I went to the city...

Would just be praying to find the bike where I parked it in best case scenario...
