Hey everyone,
I bought the SS Custom replacement bushings that mount in the triple tree to get rid of the awful play in the handlebars that many of us have with taller bars. I took it to a great shop that specializes in japanese bikes and they cracked my triple tree using a press to get the bushings out. They heated em up with a torch, all that.
If I buy a new triple tree it comes with the stock bushings pressed in already.
Any thoughts, advice? I watched a youtube vid on this install and it looked very easy, he tapped out the old bushings without even removing the tree or using a press. I guess mine were really in there.
