I've seen several YouTube videos of folks modifying Bolt mufflers using a metal hole saw (1.25") on an extension to make a hole in the front baffle. Has anyone tried this on an SCR muffler and/or have any comments pro or con?

I recently decided that my SCR needed a little louder voice as well. Instead of using the extension and hole saw, I opted for a different route. I just removed the end cap off of the muffler and drilled about 8 holes with a 3/8" drill bit. The bike is definitely louder, and has a throaty sound. It's not much, but it did enough for me at the moment.

Today I ordered a Freedom Combat slip on to finally upgrade that ugly stock can and give me some nice sound coming out of the bike!

I just took a hole saw on a extension and drilled the core out. Very easy to do and took about 5 min. Deep throaty sound now. Easiest mod I've done with great results!
