Ok there's no easy way to say it.
SCR950........ sold!
I brought my scr because I liked the style and the price, I ride every day and don't like chain maintenance much.
Every expert (who as never ridden one) knows that this bike is absolute rubbish and often makes top 10 worst bike lists.
Ryan & f9 was the only man on earth saying this bike was fun, so I gave it ago.
With the exception of fast sport bikes and cruisers I have owned many and varied bikes.
I have loved every single mile I have ridden on the scr once the noisy tyres had gone and exhaust mod done,
Since the moto guzzi v85tt arrived I have always wanted one but finding a decent dealer near to home proved difficult. Well everything aligned and the deal was done. The scr as suffered very slight deprecation which shows if you don't spend much initially you don't lose much.
Although we are few in number on this forum I loved being part of it and thank you all.
Ride safe, regards stuart

Enjoy the V85, it's a good looking bike. Like you, I've enjoyed every mile on my SCR.... on paper it doesn't stack up very well, but in practice it works real well - for me, like it did for you 👍

Congrats on the new bike.
I get a new/different bike every few years just to keep things interesting, it doesnt mean I dont like my last bike.
I like my SCR but will sell it or trade it in in a couple years. I would've bought and been happy with a cruiser for 99% of my riding but have to ride on dirt roads a bit due to where I live/work hence the scrambler.

Congrats on the V85. I've been admiring that machine in the media. Moto Guzzi has definitely stepped up their game. That machine has a lot of character too.

Speaking of character, I still like my SCR. It's an oddball bike but that's part of the appeal for me. I'll probably eventually replace my beloved FJR1300 with something else but I think I'll keep the quirky, oddball SCR.

Keep on drinking the Kool-Aid and screwing the "experts". Adios muchacho. With the inflation and the current market, there aren't many things "deprecating" right now.
