I think, given the SCR was only a one year model (2017), that options are starting to get limited. Here’s the ones I think, off the top of my head, are still available ‘new’:

Bassani: Bassani Xhaust

(@[email protected] can chime in here…..)

Arrow: YAMAHA SCR 950 2017 2018 Muffler ARROW REBEL DARK Black CC | eBay

Akrapovic: Akrapovič

I don’t think Vance and Hines make Bolt/SCR pipes any more, and I don’t think Danmoto even exist any more!!

Obviously, you could always get an eBay ‘generic special’ and ‘make’ it fit…..a couple of members have done that.

EDIT: Vance and Hines might still do the staggered slash cuts, but that’s more for the Bolt (although I’ve seen one or two fitted to the SCR): TWIN SLASH STAGGERED

Talking out of my arse - there might be a few more than I originally thought 🤦‍♂️ (Two Brothers, Baron etc) - see Revzilla:

Just bear in mind the above search results are for the Bolt, not the SCR, so there may well be subtle differences (ie stock Bolt exhaust is parallel to the ground, whereas the SCR one is upswept slightly…..)

Ben
Im thinking about getting on of these. This is canadian, us amazon would be cheaper for you.

Most exhaust for the bolt that come with a new bracket fit right on the scr.

I am very happy with the fit, finish and performance of the Bassani system ( just under $700). The head pipes are a little bit larger than stock, but the heat shields are what gives it a " fat " look. It is pretty loud when you get on the throttle. As far as Two Brothers, I love the look, but I couldn't find a system available anywhere. Besides, they use a much larger head pipe which actually decreases power ( according to Ivan ). He also said that to make the most power with his reflash, use the stock head pipes with a quality slip-on, like the Akrapovic, for example. Good luck! Jevers
I know how hard it is to find a Vance and Hines Comp series slip-on, but I HIGHLY recommend trying to track one down. @Jevers, I completely agree with you about getting Ivan's reflash, as I paired my V&H comp series slip on with a velociraptor intake, stock head pipes, and Ivan's reflash (which really smoothed out the throttle response). Now the SCR breathes like it should, has power throughout the whole rev range, sounds amazing/lets folks know I'm near them/scares my children (hehe), and I've gained almost 20hp!

I've already gotten the item reflash and an intake just looking for an exhaust I did the Cobra intake

Yeah, that’s what you need to look out for….

If it’s sound you’re looking for, I have to say, following @Odyoa Yamaha the other week with his stock pipe having had the patented ‘holesaw’ mod, it sounded really good! (y) Ivan is also on record as saying the stock exhaust is not really the issue - it performs well - and that its the stock intake that’s very restrictive.

Of course, if it’s a change of look you’re going for, that’s not gunna help……

However, I did just spot this
on eBay U.K.:

Tire Wheel Fuel tank Plant Automotive fuel system

Looks like he’s shortened the stock exhaust?! Never seen that before……either that, or he’s parked it in front of one of those mirrors at the funfair that distorts what you look like! :ROFLMAO:

Maybe - they look like they come with their own mount (as above), if you zoom in. Whoever makes them sells them via eBay in the U.K……

Ben

“Extreme Blaster” :ROFLMAO: - never heard of that before……

A guy on here fitted these Mac pipes once:

He put it on YouTube, too:

I was thinking about the shorty exhaust it just seems like you have to cut your exhaust which I'm not really willing to do.

Save your hard earned cash. The marginal performance increase from an aftermarket exhaust is probably the result of your wallet being a lot lighter. Bust out the hole saw and drill thru your baffle plate. It takes 5 minutes and like many of us who have done it, you just might like it. Then spend that money on functional mods instead of a minor performance mod.

Do It!

Ha. 48 Yamaha's??? Not even close.
Keep in mind that nearly all of my Yamaha's came at an original acquisition cost that was less than what our man jevers spent on his fancy Bassani exhaust, or whatever brand it is.
But his exhaust does have a wicked look to it.

I love that there are differing opinions on what mods to spend money on. Every rider and their idea of what their bike could be for them, is different, and that is what makes the motorcycle community so great!! IMO, the stock pipe is a beast (not in a good way) and drilling out the baffle may give you a similar result as a slip on, but it does not help the resale of the SCR. I hate the idea of ever selling any of my bikes, but I would probably get a little more $$ by having a nicer slip on / aftermarket intake / reflash, than I would get from a stock drilled through horrible looking potato shooter with a stock toaster-looking-air-box that doesn't breathe..

"horrible looking potato shooter"
Ha. That is so true. It looks like a Bazooka!
As for the aftermarket choices, I would go for the Two Bros full exhaust in black.
