I’m picking up my new SCR950 on Thursday, and the dealer is showing me options for extended warranties, I know it’s a personal decision for peace of mind, but I would like to hear other owners suggestions on this subject. Thanks

I didn't get one, personally, but that's because I like fixing things when they eventually break. I did it with computers in high school and never looked back with anything else. It gives me the opportunity to learn something new and become more familiar with the item. I think I also have trust issues when it comes to someone else wrenching/tinkering with my machines anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also depends on how the dealers in your town are. In my town I wont trust them to fix a bullock cart. So a warranty isn't worth the paper its printed on to me. However if I was in Charlotte - my old home town, yes I may have got it. Those dealer mechanics used to call me when a GS500 rolled in their shop with a weird problem. In fact they'd have the owner call me.
