Apparently, you don’t have to remap unless you change both the air intake and the exhaust. Gonna see how the exhaust goes and then consider new filter. With regards to warranty, I understand that the manufacturer (i.e. Yamaha) would have to prove that the part caused the problem, in the event of a claim, to invalidate the warranty. FWIW I reckon Japanese engines are so refined and reliable, that you are very unlikely to have a problem.With the Akrapovic slip on do you plan on flashing the ECU? or maybe wait until you get the aftermarket air filter?
I am just curious to see if the HP gains are that noticeable. I am waiting until my warranty is up to increase HP.
