Yamaha to start with:

Adventure foot pegs
Skid plate
Akrapovic slip-on
Fork Brace

Also:

Renthal Superbike bars (high) with brace

Also desire (but haven’t selected):

Aftermarket air filter
Seat
Tail tidying stuff
Adjustable levers

Any tips on the last section?

With the Akrapovic slip on do you plan on flashing the ECU? or maybe wait until you get the aftermarket air filter?

I am just curious to see if the HP gains are that noticeable. I am waiting until my warranty is up to increase HP.

I just did a Seat Concepts seat cover & foam kit, it's certainly more comfortable than the original.

Installed a K&N intake/filter kit, think the cobra one may be a better choice, my knee hits the K&N, and is not much better than the OE filter/intake setup.

The mirrors I did were a big improvement, they are actually a functional item now.

If it's any consolation, I don't think there is an intake on the market where your knee won't hit. It's just the nature of the beast. You'll get used to it. Nice mods! Jevers

Apparently, you don’t have to remap unless you change both the air intake and the exhaust. Gonna see how the exhaust goes and then consider new filter. With regards to warranty, I understand that the manufacturer (i.e. Yamaha) would have to prove that the part caused the problem, in the event of a claim, to invalidate the warranty. FWIW I reckon Japanese engines are so refined and reliable, that you are very unlikely to have a problem.

Yeah, probably true your knee will hit anything. I will say the open plenum type intake immediately improved the sound of the bike, and by seat of the pants, seems it may have picked up a little throttle response and power. (not sure about exact numbers tho)

I want the V&H slip on muffler, just waiting for them to start making them again after the company move.

Still need to do homework on the ECU stuff, would prefer one that retains the O2 functionality, but options are limited.

I'm not concerned about the warranty, not only for the already mentioned reasons, but in general, if something were going to fail, it would have failed in the first 100 or so miles.

For what it's worth, I have the Kuryakyn Velociraptor air cleaner and my knee will easily clear the air cleaner.

How? Where? You must have a short inseam? I have that same air cleaner, love the look and sound, but I really didn't gain any room. I have a 34" inseam, btw. Jevers

Whats your thoughts on the handle bars? I've been looking for a set that are pretty much the same as stock but with out the crossbar
