So I just got done removing the entirety of the rear fender/tail section. Hated the look of it and wanted a more naked look. I've never done any electrical work so wanted to do it right the first time. I rewired and soldered the crimped connectors so if I messed up I could always unplug and retry. I like the results and the front signals are next.

Looks good bro. Though I prefer the rear fender, it looks good with it off as well. I saw an Instagram post with both rear and front fender off and it looked pretty good naked

its like 40 pounds lighter than stock lol.... that's what it is. IMO it just looks aggressive.

He's used just a standard Clipon with no rise. Woodcraft makes a set that has a split design. Which means the clamp part spreads open and makes it an easy to clamp on forks.
Otherwise you with standard clipons like on his above you will have to take the triple clamp off to slide the bars over the Fork tubes.
Which is not that hard. Just one steering head bolt you have to remove then the fork clamp bolts just loosen.

Oh yea I have 41mm bars off a katana 600 I should be able to mangle to fit above the triples, in fact I probably prefer that. 1 little billet aluminum fixture X 2 should allow me to use the original riser holes and fit that one on. The katana clip on's don't pinch onto the forks. They're bolted onto the triple and they are just snug onto the forks. They also can take aluminum handle tubes.
@ 100 mph, the SCR bars threaten to have me airborne. I either need to gain weight or get my head down from the wind.

I used the bars and top triple from the bolt C-spec
I'm going to up grade the bars to the wok craft bars.

It looks good...but you'll probably have mud all over your back and head without the fender.

Haha yep! I took my fender off, rode through a puddle on a short trip around town, and quickly put that sucker back on. The look is cool, but not very practical if you ride in areas where it rains often enough.
