Have got to check the steering head bearing preload. everything else is good.
You might benefit from a fork brace since you removed the front fender. I bet the steel fender pretty much acts like a fork brace which is why I haven't bothered adding one. But you might need it without the fender.

what's up schu ???
good point. i have been looking at yamahas' brace for the bolt. first i need to check the preload on the bearings i think @eddie is right about that. i see grease coming out of the bottom of the steering head which would mean it is probably too loose.

:crying: really ??? i don't fucking cry. the K & N might look good but is made of cheap plastic and comes with substandard hardware and is not designed as well as the vance & hines. the outer plate is very heavy too.
Oooo...touchy. I was actually referencing a previous thread where Flatrack was saying he didn’t like the K&N, but I did. The tears were mine. Get back in your cot.

Looks great! I bought mine for a flat track build aswell. Do you plan on actually racing it? Hooligan classes are popping up everywhere and look like a good time. I know as soon as mine is sorted I'm hitting the dirt! And if you dont mind me asking what bars are those?
