Schu: But I didn't. I only knew that you'd know that I knew. Did you know that?
SCRBen: ... Of course.

Last time I looked... the gate Belushi walked out of in the Blues Brothers movie.... The gate looked like this.
It was welded shut 100 years ago after a riot where the prisoners tried to break through that gate. They kept smashing a railroad coal car against it. The 1-131st infantry Illinois National guard put the riot down before they broke free.
They opened it up for the movie and promptly welded it shut again and added some concertina wire for effect. And the iron bars. The Joliet Prison been closed since 2002? There abouts...
It opened in 1858 built by prisoners from local stone. Held rebel Confederate prisoners during the Civil War.Not as infamous as Alcatraz but darn near.
Recently opened for tours.

Very interesting. Have you googled this, or recalled it all from memory?!

Me? I’m on a mission from God.

Memory from things read. Just like all the info on Roman England.
There were several riots there from 1858 to 2002. Was a **** hole for Prisoners as the steel plant was directly south of the prison. All the smoke drifted into the prison. Apparently doing time in Joliet... Really really sucked!

@mototech101 if it's a red SCR you better act fast!
But most likely it's a grey SCR.
They're nice too, in a different sort of way. Lol
WOW!
They do have red in stock.
Get on it.

Hi Schu,

Hopefully by next week - all transaction are completed - I am doing my slow pace and acting on the last of the red one!

Cheers!
Is that red oil faster than the green or blue?🤓 As far as ABS goes, I'm ECSTATIC that the U.S. SCRs DON'T have it. Just my opinion.
I've never even been on a bike that has ABS......
I had it on my '06 FJR and it was great. I never needed it, thank God! The bike was new, so it didn't break down. On the other hand, I bought an 11 year old GS that had switched ABS. Nice option to have as long as you remember to switch it off BEFORE you descend a rutted out fire road in the Rockies!😱 That, and the system started having fits, like $2000 to fix it fits! No ABS for me, thanks.
