how much Ben? Where did you get it?
It’s from a company called Specialised Covers:

https://www.specialisedcovers.com

....hand made right here in Yorkshire. Saw an ad for them with 10% off in a magazine a few months back, so took the SCR along, and they measured it up there and then - took them about 45 minutes!!

As you’ll see - fits pretty nice, right down to the section they’ve designed specifically around the rear brake light/indicator cluster.

Fairly pricy tho - £90 (about $115), but I guess it is a custom fit, and they’re all hand made.

That custom fit cover is the dogs bollocks! And that price sounds fair.
I have a cover that I bought from California Car Covers. They make nice car covers and also have bike covers. I bought it for my Virago 1100 that had a huge fairing style windshield and a sissy bar. I could cover two SCRs with it.....

LOL......glad you like it, me old China.

If you like that, you’re gonna love what I received on Friday!! (see pics).

A real eBay bargain this time - paid £120 (about $150). The ad said used, but there’s no way this has ever been on a bike before - it’s brand new! Also has the cat included (which would be another £50, although not essential).

Even better, it’s the Euro 3 model for the Bolt, so has a removable baffle. :grin2: Downside to that? It says ‘XV950’ on it, but I can live with that to have it a little louder. Also, I’ve got to source an SCR link pipe, as it only comes with one for the Bolt (Euro 4 fixed-baffle version comes with both). I’ve already spoken to the U.K. importer, and he can get me one direct from Akrapovic, but they want more than I paid for the exhaust!! Overall, that would still be a saving of over 50% versus buying it all new, but still........

Other option is to find a Bolt owner with the Euro 4 pipe who will let me have the surplus SCR link pipe. I’ve put an ad on the forum, but I’m not hopeful. Other option would be to get one made up - there’s a couple of exhaust places near me. I know I’ll just order one from Akra though...... Anyone have any other ideas??

Overall though, well chuffed with this buy! :grin2:

Now.....is it “a-KRAP-o-vich” or “ak-RA-povich”........?!
