hand guards

National Cycle makes several well built clear handguards that are universal. I took my set off my 2015 Suzuki C90T and put them on my SCR yesterday. Mine are clear which I like as they don't stand out. They fit fine after some adjustment around the throttle cables. These are about 80 bucks from National but Ebay has them as cheap as 15 bucks (China made brands) but I can't speak to the quality as compared to National Cycles items.

I ordered a pair that looked decent, and if they fit I'll pass that info along. I ride in cold weather too, and my heated vest keeps my core nice and warm. I never liked heated grips - palms roast while knuckles freeze - and I've found the best way to be warm is hand guards and a keeping my core warm. So that's my plan! Also looking into a windshield perhaps.

Hey guys. I ordered these in hopes of working. They seem alright. Not exactly where I want the throttl side, just so many cables getting in the way but it should be decent. I didn’t want to mess with modifying my heated grips or the weights, so I opted for the ones that mount on one point. I slid both mirror mounts etc in a little bit to accommodate and in turn adjusted the levers to a more comfortable spot for myself. Win win I think. I guess we’ll see how well these hold up.
