Hello. Looking into buying a new bike and the SCR 950 is on my radar. Checking out the forum and thought I'd join up. Found a deal on one in area for what seems to be stupid cheap. Trying to decide if I want it or not. Main thing holding me back is the seat sucks and I don't see any alternatives at the moment. Anyways I'll be around reading and researching. If I decide not to go for it I'll point out the deal to everyone for some other lucky guy or gal to pick it up.

I have to chuckle because that low price for as much bike that you get.... Seems unreal! Look on here and you'll see that some people got some awesome deals.
I bought mine in September. Ive only got around 460 miles on mine. But, I dont have any real complaints anymore as the bike has grown on me.. Or I should say I have grow comfortable with it.
Its wide down low, I guess because of the exhaust. Its a weird foot position for me.. But the more I ride it. The more I like it.
I really cant complain about the bike. Eventually I'l change some things, but for now its just fine.
I got mine for like 6200 out the door.
Im gonna have to park it here for awhile now as the cold is here.

I went to a lot of different dealers and sat on a lot off different bikes. I kept going back to the Z900 as it just feels right when I sit on it. I went with it.

I still think the SCR is an awesome looking bike. Just doesn't feel good to me when I sit on it.

So long as you like it, there's really no wrong purchase. I've ridden on a Kawasaki before as well, pretty solid bikes but the ride position was murder on the body.
