I put a new Cobra intake

I put the intake on. It runs great. I took it about 5 miles and stop and go traffic. I felt like it was running hotter than normal. It was a hot day but 95 and it was stop and go traffic. I think the bike is running lean in the advice. P.S it ran really good just felt hotter. The intake was the cobra power flow

Get the ecu reflashed by Ivans.
It will run even better and as cool as stock.

I've been holding off on getting an intake until I figure out where to get the ecu flashed in canada and may send it to Ivans in the US this winter.
Yeah they're not back till the 7th. I wasn't expecting that to happen
I just really hope I didn't damage the engine.

I was concerned about that very same thing after installing my Velociraptor and later on the Cobra. I pulled the spark plugs and they looked fine. Many other members have changed out either the intake or exhaust w/o reprogramming the ECU and have had great results. Don't worry about it too much, it could result in warts! As in... worry wart! I ran a long time, probably 8,000 miles with a different intake and finally did the full meal deal, intake, exhaust and Ivan's reflash ( which I highly recommend). An incredible increase in performance and driveability. There is no way you damaged the engine with just an intake swap! Quit worrying and start wrenching! Jevers

Thanks for the ease of mind. I think before I ride it again I am going to get the ECU flashed by Ivan. Just to be on the safe side.
