I've successfully gotten a jump start from a friend's car after my battery died. Make sure their battery is the same voltage your yours (12V). I think someone on this forum once claimed to have successfully hill-started their bike, too.
Jump/Bump Start?
Is a jump/bump/hill start possible on the SCR950? I'm currently stranded ~500 miles from home with a dead battery. I've read before that a jump start isn't possible, but I wanted to make sure before I pursue other options.

I'm sure you can "jump start" it... but you'd have to keep it on till you get to a motorcycle parts store... (better call ahead to make sure they have the battery)
