Nah, what's a few scratches in the paint. Gives it character! And really, there aren't that many pieces on the scr950 that needs protecting, just the gas tank with a small surface area and that number plate.

I usually like covering the lights at least, helps preserve them for as long as possible keeping em' fresh. When the film gets weathered, just take it off and put on another one easy.

I've got their film on the fogs lights of my Tacoma and it's some heavy-duty stuff.

How likely is the headlight going to get hit by gravel since it sits so high? Would Lamin-X help if the car in front manage to shoot a pebble right into it?

It would definitely help for sure. It's just like having a clear bra on anything else, it won't make it bulletproof or anything but it does provide a high level of protection.

I think it would, yes.
Genny follows a fair distance behind me when I ride and has a ding or two in her V-Star 950's windshield - likely from stuff my bike sent her way. The Super Tenere has a ding on the headlight lense from ???? , too.
