Gotta keep yourself entertained in traffic somehow. :D We gotta make the best of slow traffic and it's illegal for me to lane split.

I like to combine the long stride move with gas tank drum solo and belting out tunes to my bluetooth. That rapid run move is new to me, but looks interesting.
There's also the move where I lean the bike to each side a bit, gives me a decent leg workout.

I know some bikes that overheat when left idling too long gets shifted into neutral when stuck in traffic and then you scoot the bike forwards using man power. I try to avoid those situations and roads like the plague.

He could be trying to cheat his Fitbit. :grin2: Most likely he's just trying to have fun and keep the flowing in the legs to prevent cramps.

I just lane split all day every day, the best is when in traffic, no cop can keep up ;)

What helps is I do this mostly during morning and afternoon rush hour commutes which makes it even more difficult for a cop to do anything. Their main goal is to manage traffic at that point.

The chance of tapping a car goes up but the chance of being rear-ended by a car not paying attention or on phone drops. I've only bumped mirrors a few times, once when rolling slowly past a right fit, twice while on throttle. First time was going slow and the mirror engaged my brake lever, so I now have some cheap all plastic hard guards on that bike; Soon will have aluminum barstock bark busters on SCR.

I also lane split during 60% of my commute, but never on the freeway..... unless traffic is under 20mph.

A SCR950 Facebook page admin just pointed out I'm quoted in a new Yamaha video on YouTube posted yesterday.
I remember writing up a review for Yamaha. I just didn't think they would use it for anything. COOL BEANS!!

Most surveys I receive gets tossed into a corner or deleted unless completing one gives me something in return.

As for lane splitting, it's illegal in a majority of states is it not? As far as I know, it technically is legal in California, but that's pretty much it.
