Hello everyone,
I'm from waaaay upstate NY near the Canadian border on Lake Champlain.
I used to ride, then got rid of my bike when I got married, then that stopped being an issue. Lol.
Last year I got back into riding when I got a used Yamaha VSTAR 650. A few months later I fell in love with the SCR 950.
I am one of those wacky people that love retro and old stuff.
I sold the VSTAR and got a good deal on the SCR from my local dealer trying to get rid of old stock.
I rode it home on February 27. I was even out yesterday for a short ride March 6 ahead of a big winter storm.
I want to say a big thank you to the SCR 950 forum and its members who's posts have been a very helpful resource. Now that I have my bike i decided to join the forum.
