[Scramblin' Around]

Hi guys,

Just picked up my bike on Saturday. I was looking at the SCR for a few months but resisted purchasing it until a couple of days ago. So far, so good! Definitely takes some getting used to! My last bike was a Monster 620, which I sold 4 years ago. Prior to that I had a 07 GSXR 750 and 06 CBR 600RR.

Lots of great information on here! Looking forward to reading what members have done to their bikes :smile2:!

Ohhhh, your previous bikes were more on the sporty side. How's it feel to sit a bit straighter on the SCR950?

OpenRoad, it is definitely a different bike! Sitting up right is better as this is my daily commuter. The only thing I have to get used to is the fact that this is not a sports bike. It doesn't have 120+ hp :surprise:. But other than that, it is a comfortable bike and ride.

After riding for a long time, you start to enjoy smaller bikes with less ponies under you. At least that's my case, may even spring for a Grom just for the heck of it.
