I'm building a custom exhaust, and I need to know which O2 sensor bung to snag off of eBay. Anyone know the diameter and pitch? Thanks!
Charles.
Charles.
My V&H Competition slipon came with 02 Bung already welded to pipe.18mm diameter, 1.5mm thread pitch. Will be getting one myself shortly for my V&H Comp 👍

Do you mean an O2 sensor port already welded in place?! Can't imagine they'd weld a bung in it tho.....?My V&H Competition slipon came with 02 Bung already welded to pipe.

Indeed it is. The company I work for has a U.K. Division and we design and build equipment for the auto industry. This equipment has drip pans with drain fittings/plugs. I about spit my coffee the first time I heard them refer to the fitting as a bung hole and the plug as a bung. Now all the US designers call them out on the drawings as bungs. It was the dogs bollocks.I think it's probably just a break down in US/UK terminology!!! 😂😂😂
   Makes perfect sense to me! You've got a hole to fill, so you 'bung' it up, with a bung!! When I've got a cold, I might complain about being "bunged up"!! I'd never call it a 'bung hole' though, that's definitely prison talk here as well! Its still a 'boss', or maybe a 'port', to me.Indeed it is. my first time over there i rented a car in london thinking that i could navigate myself solo to a meeting in liverpool. Omg! As if driving on the wrong side of the road isn't bad enough, i rented a car with manual transmission so i'm sitting on the wrong side of the car shifting with the wrong hand. I didn't even make it to my hotel before before a bobby pulled me over. I pointed to my hotel and said if you help me get to that hotel i promise i will call the rental place and have them come get the car. He said "follow me". Lol
