I was thinking last Sunday, after a ride out, much as I love the beast, there are some things that bug me...
The seat , and the incipient agony for the older female pillion (it's alright if you are young and supple...moan...)
The non cancelling indicators
The low range
The lack of power when on a ride out with big bore bros .
So I thought , I know I will get a recycled item that will solve all these problems!
Its called a 2011 Triumph Thunderbird Storm!
So I arranged a viewing for this Tuesday...

The SCR decided to have it's say, and punish me for such thoughts...
Come Tuesday I skip to the front door to collect the keys... not there?....oh where can they be?
Tosser has left them in the ignition since Sunday when he recorded the mileage... in the "on" position!
So of course everything is flatter than a very flat thing.
Trot up to the manual to find how to charge the bugger up... Oh! its a "modern" battery you need a special charger...
Rush out to buy aforesaid smart charger, dismantle half the bike to get to the battery, start to charge...
Smart charger say "this battery is f***ed".
Cancel viewing.
Next day off to the local bike shop, who confirm the battery is "F***ed" , and kindly dispose of it for me, after selling me a new one for £106.00,

The awesome Lidl micro-ratchet bit set once again leaps into action and the SCR once again roars into action.
To cut a long story short I didn't buy the Thunderbird, its too intimidatingly big, wouldn't fit down the side of the house , and the servicing bills
in the FSH were obscene .
But at least I learnt how to change the battery.
