Well Easter Bank Holiday weekend n' managed to get out on Sunday in between the rain....took Useless the BMW , keeping Toothless clean for the end of April (more later), the usual haunts getting a bit too usual, I did a 120 mile explore to the south and east, looping through West & East Sussex to the Kent coast and back , stops at the Butchers Hook , Heathfield , the greasiest greasy spoon ever , and the 1066 Cafe at Robertsbridge - saw the new Guzzi V1000 Mandello but sort of looks like a something very pretty that has hatched out of a CX500! Also a really neat stripped down Beemer.
Then got lost and found myself in Poppingpot Lane for a number of miles , touring the backwoods of Kent on a single track until rejoining the ridge running route to Rye, where I discovered that the Rye Quay meeting place isn't at the moment, currently a construction site. Bit misty and cold so headed back
Steam loco at Peasmarsh and nice run along the Bayham straight , refound the sun and warmed up, so good ride home.
So why keep Toothless clean? We is going on a Weekend adventure! 21st April with the UK XV950 Bolt owners - 20 bikes , mostly Bolts but there are SCR's in the group, as well as the Cafe Racer variant, so should be interesting...Friday set up camp, Saturday big cruise round southern England and back for campfire & piss up š
