P2P motorcycle rentals

Has anyone else put their bike(s) on either Twisted Road or Riders Share? I wonder if I've got the only SCR available for rent out there. Does anyone know about other similar sites?

If anyone is interested in checking out either platform, you probably get some sort of first time discount with a referral code? I haven't actually bothered to see what the bonuses are.

My referral code is V3DIX on https://www.twistedroad.com/
The other site doesn't seem to do referral codes, it's https://www.riders-share.com/

If anyone wants my honest comparison of the two, I'd say they're mostly identical in terms of the user experience. Users list and rent bikes from one another. Owners set their own prices. Twisted Road takes a 30% cut, Riders Share takes 25%. It's easy as long as the two parties communicate enough to arrange a smooth handoff.

I've rented my SCR to 3 people so far using both sites, and I've got 1 more renter coming this weekend. It's been more or less paying for my bike's upkeep and insurance, which is pretty nice. The last guy dropped my bike when he parked on gravel :| but the harm was minimal and Twisted Road reimbursed me for the new handguards I bought to replace a damaged one. So, it's not without its risks and may require some energy input, but I'd recommend either one.

Ask me any time if you've got questions about my experiences renting.

Cool!
I never realized there was anything available like this.
Not that I'd ever consider renting mine, but renting one while on vacations might be nice.

I can't lie, I feel slightly anxious the whole time it's gone...

I haven't taken out others' bikes yet, but I'm already trying to figure out which faraway rides I need to strike from my bucket list.
My bike is MY bike... no one elses 🤣

Amen, brother, AMEN! I think I would be more comfortable with renting out my wife than my bike!😜🤣

And how would you feel if the renter laid her down?

Relieved, I would gain a minute and a half!😜🤣
Update: bike returned from its latest trip in fine health. I had to raise my rates, though, the last two renters each put on 500 miles.

I don't know how you do it! I'd be a nervous wreck the whole time my bike was gone. But, hey, more power ( and money) to ya! Jevers

I'm sure they were 500 easy going miles....
Heh heh heh

Remember the car rental scene in Days of Thunder with Cole Trickle and Rowdy Burns.
That was awesome.
So, if you don't mind me asking, how much would the income per day be? after they deduct their share of course, like what do I get paid NET?
You choose the daily rate, and they take 25% (Riders Share) or 30% (Twisted Road). My rate before I raised it was $95 so I was getting $66.50 from Twisted Road (which seems to be the more popular platform so far).
