new owner here; I am desperately looking for the rear rack made by Fehling. I cant find it anywhere. Can anyone point me towards a source that has it in stock? Is anyone trying to get rid of theirs? I would love to buy it off you. Also, I live in NewHampshire can some one point me towards a shop that could custom make one as a last resort? Thanks, Sree

they just take a lot of time to ship it.. around a month or 5 weeks...

I got mine, and I did a modification in it to carry a top box (51 Litres top box)
(welded a triangle shaped piece to the rack to support heavier weights)

Yes, I did order from them directly, you usually use the order form and it takes some time till they email you back (when the rack is ready)
then the email will have an invoice can be paid by PayPal
Then it will be shipped

after conversion from Euro to USD it will be around $250 including shipping for both the rack and the pannier mounts (can vary depending on conversion rate)

It was so much pain to deal with them.... I even thought for a while that I lost my money and thought about calling PayPal to get the money back !!!!!

They have no English speakers there what so ever... so forget about calling them
Email is your way to go

Good to know. I have a friend who is originally from Germany so I will try to get her to call them to find out if my original order is still awaiting completion (from 2 weeks ago). I would love to have that box. Where did you get that? Other than the triangular piece is everything else (like the aluminum plates in the bottom) stock parts or did you have to cut them to fit the rack? Thanks again.

I had to custom make all that... gave the rack to someone and he did the welding, repainting, then he got those two aluminum pieces, did the cutting, drilling holes

I can carry anything in that box... laptop... jacket, vest and helmet...

the box was from ebay

I might consider selling the whole luggage thing, not sure yet...!
the reason why I may sell, is because a friend of mine is giving me away some GIVI boxes off his bike, and I may think about fitting them on my bike... !!

New guy - I’ve been in e-mail contact with Fehling direct this week, as stocks seem to have dried up over here in Europe too. The reason, I am told, is that they are also out of stock at Fehling HQ!! They are due to make some more at the back end of July, so advised me to place the order on their website (which I’ve done), and they’ll send them out when they’ve knocked some more up!!!

I did get a confirmation email this morning from Fehling. They will be manufactured in week 28 of this year and they will ship them the week after. So if anyone is looking for that rear rack you can put in the orders.

You need to get the product codes from this page:

....In our case, 7561 for the luggage rack, and then 7562 if you want to order the saddlebag mounts/rests too (I did).

You then input your details and the above codes on this page:

....and they’ll contact you via email before dispatch, asking you to pay first (probably via PayPal).
