Im looking for a new pipe for my SCR here in the UK & just started researching pipes. I see there is a akrapovic slip on can but thats quite expensive so does anybody know of anything else available for the SCR.

Also whats the sensor that goes into the exhaust by the riders right front foot peg is it a lambda sensor ? If so what are people doing about the senor when fitting a new pipe ?

Im not familiar with the bolt, xv or scr so also dont no if a re map will be required or if I will need a new power commander or something else. If anybody has done these mods Id very much appreciate any info or tips you may have or maybe point me in the way of some tech info on the mods.

Thanks a lot in advance

FYI: I wrote Firebrand asking if they'd make an upturned version of the GP style exhaust of theirs with maybe a slash cut tip. (They make one for the Bolt. *pictured* }
Here's the reply I got:

"The 950 is definitely on our list of projects. Its a cool bike and iagree the GP slip-on would look great.
It would probably be a early 2018release but i will keep you posted on progress.

If you like the idea, write them and ask!
The more feedback they get, the more likely we could see something and sooner.

Sorry for the delay in replying & thanks for your comments.

I will now have to wait a while before I can do anything to my bike due to an insurance claim after a BMW driver hit me in the left foot peg area so I haven't done anything with the supertrapp exhaust yet guys.

I'll up date my other post with more details.

Thanks for the heads up. Their GP style exhaust looks great, especially with the honeycomb mesh cap. Once it's out next year, maybe it'll inspire someone to turn their scr950 into a bumblebee on two wheels. :grin2:

Ouch, hope you weren't injured in the accident and it was just a foot peg.
