Somebody is parting out an SCR on eBay from Montana USA. Lots of parts.

Good looking out! Not a bad price for a "brand new" tank..

That’s because the tank has a pretty good size dent in one spot. But still a good tank for trying something custom. (Jay;-)
My guess is that somebody is parting out the remains of a wrecked SCR. Probably the reason why some items are only from one side of the bike. But the prices are good and no shipping charges!

Yeah, Schu, I looked at the tank and if it was November, I might consider doing that paint swap. But...but this time I am thinking about that GOLDEN 175 you just finished! I am still struggling with painting over a perfectly good red/white paint job!

No I wouldn’t paint your original tank either. I would buy the dented tank and take it somewhere for the paint and dent repair. You could just do the tank and then have decals made to lay over the side covers without painting them. Leave the fenders silver. Do it.
