Spotted this on eBay today, seemingly having been commissioned by a dealer not too far from me. Probably trying to shift some of the SCRs still hanging around unsold. They want 10 large for it, like......

I like the rear turn signals. Look like the same LED bolts that I bought for lighting up my license plate. Probably in amber yellow.

And the upswept reverse megaphone muffler is something I want to fab up for my bike if/when I decide to abandon the stock bazooka.

That's 4 large worth of yellow paint and seat cover ? Cos I paid 6 large - in USD for mine OTD - yea OTD 6 large - they were real large too. USD large.

BTW I am planning to rake them over some hot coals this weekend over the 60 mile used SCR with a front tire off some other (cos my front tar is off that one LOL) - AKA buy whatever new tire at their expense and make em sell you @ used $$$ …

Heck - I may snag it myself … if it is under 5 OTD …

That chrome headlight is pretty nice.
My girlfriend liked the simpler looks of a Suzuki GS500E vs. the faired GS500F she bought. Converting it was simple as pulling the fairing and brackets and then installing a headlight & turn signals. I had the signals, a fork mount was like $16.
I found this headlight assembly online from a company in Germany for about $85USD +$35 shipping. It had a chromed, all-steel housing and came with both the H4 bulb, a position/parking bulb + socket and short wiring harness. Even with shipping, it was a lot less expensive than the $197 Suzuki assembly that had a plastic shell.

Yeah, I imagine it’s not too difficult to swap out the stock one.

The exhaust on that blue bolt is similar to mine, except mine is shorter and fits on directly on the stock O2 sensor coupling spread to fit.

GS500 naked's are awesome, in fact there is a huge bunch of people that love the angular 89-00 over the newer 01-02 with the favorite being the 89, with clipon's the frame upper rail without a gusset, 6 position gear indicator bobbin, aluminum shock linkage etc etc.
That white one with racing stripe like a CB750/1100F from the early 80's is my favorite, I keep a body set around just so I can slap it onto any GS I like. I also have a set in black.

OK.....so I didn’t realise the blue SCR was done by the same people (Down and Out) as the yellow one at the top of this thread!! Must look closer next time.

@yoitsemo - you asked about the headlight? They sell it....!

Down & Out Motorcycles | D&O Triumph Headlight & Brackets 41mm

As @eddie says, probably cheaper to source one from a non ‘custom house’ tho!

They offer a kit to turn your bike into the yellow one too. Bit pricy, like:

Down & Out Motorcycles | D&O Yamaha SCR 950 Custom Kit

I’ve never heard of them, but they’re only about 20 miles from me! Have to take a run down there one day and check ‘em out.
