On a fairly flat & regular shaped seat like the SCR's, the installation is a breeze.

Installation is not terrible, no. I did the previously mentioned FZ-09 Seat Concepts kit a few years ago and really liked the results.
The foam had a better feel to it and that setup resolved a forward slope in the OEM seat that could get quite uncomfortable.
The stock SCR950 seat has a distinct and painful "crown" to the foam.
Simply cutting the top down to a flatter surface helped a great bit.
Adding a 1/4" gel section got me closer to what I wanted.
The Seat Concepts foam ought to be right on the money - with a certain retro styling that suits the look of the bike well.

Nothing.
No email.
No seat kit.
My order confirmation says,
"Attention:
Due to a high volume oforders during our busy season, our lead time is approximately 10-14 businessdays."
Today makes 14 business days since I ordered.

Thanks for the update Eddie. I think I will do the same on Monday since we ordered on the same day. And yes, my payment cleared exactly 18 days ago as well.

I wrote Seat Concepts last night and got this reply at 18:10EST today:
"Eddie,
Our sewing shop had some issues getting these put together (some technical difficulties) so we do not have the seat covers yet, we hope tohave this rectified in the next day or 2.
Thanks for your continued patience."

I'll jump in here. Ordered mine on March 18th - got the email from Seat Concepts yesterday that it has shipped. Tracked the shipment & I should have it in-hand by tomorrow.
