This place has been great to check out some good ideas for the bike!

I was having some height issues with my seat so I had a custom one made and now I cant find anything wrong with the bike! Really loving it.

Is the padding comfortable being that thin?
I'm curious to know what kind was used.
I constructed one from scratch (pan, hardware, foam & cover) and the foam I bought ended up being too firm.

I'd love to get my hands on a slightly lower seat. Do you have any specs to share? Also, like Eddie asked, is it comfortable at all?

Seat comfort

I was definitely worried about comfort having to shave it down, but they used a really good high density foam when they re lined it, so even though its thin I don't feel much of a difference.
And honestly I'll take a harder seat over control with my feet on the ground! The plight of being short and wanting to ride tall!

I'll look and see if I can get some measurements on the changes they made. Any local auto upholstery place should be able to help you out with getting it slimmed down!

That looks great! I definitely would have kept a little more padding like yours if I didn't have short legs!

I'm planning on it, but haven't done it yet. 34" inseam here. It's always a pleasant surprise when I come to a stop on an uneven surface and it *feels* like I've lifted it.

I'm only 5'9" with a 31" inseam, and I still went up. Bike needs cornering clearance for the way I ride!

Glad to know that since i'm of similar dimensions but riding a Honda CBR300 which I might add i am very comfortable on. Hopefully will own an SCR soon enough.
