Second-Hand Two-Bros 2-into-1 ?

So.....this popped up on my eBay watch list today! :nerd:

£135 equals about $180 US, however, I’ve been chatting to the guy today, and he suggested a lower offer may be acceptable! (£100 would be about $135, but that’d be good going!). Bloke seems genuine - says he’s taken it off, as his little girl rides with him now, and it’s just too loud for her.

These systems are like hens teeth over here, and the black one is the more expensive one too. He says he put about 1000 miles on it, but did ride through last winter. The fixings look slightly rough, but he reckoned they’d clean up ok. He did mention he got it off eBay too though, so that’d make it 3rd-hand, but he describes the condition as generally good.

Would be something to play around with. Always nice to have a spare exhaust system! :grin2: I also thought, if the pipes were so bad, I could always heatwrap it.

Worth a punt?

Punt away! I have to continue to live vicariously when it comes to contraband exhaust mods.
Seems like a great deal but I honestly dont think it's much of an improvement over your current exhaust. Save your money for something you need...like a new intake :)

Speaking of intakes, I saw one recently that looked like a Radiation Warning Sign attached to an otherwise beautiful bike.
Oh wait.......never mind.

I actually thought it WAS a radiation symbol, that's what I liked about it!

Just get one! You’re a biker - we don’t care about the law, right?!

paint the light parts yellow
I think on this bike losing weight is the biggest benefit to the exhaust swap.
Of course you can gain or lose 10mph top speed with the exhaust swap, but the exhausts with no restriction are pretty much the ones that deliver the highest top speed, much like the TBR or anything else with a through flow baffle the size of the header connector where the O2 sensor goes.
Actually the bike's biggest restriction is in the 2 tight bends in the intake manifold. As we cant change that, anything else is just window dressing.
A ecu re-Flash adjusts your mixture to the correct flow etc etc. K&N type filters let in a bit more air, but soon enough you cant send in any more air because that manifold wont let you.
Someone should develop a set of straight manifolds - and those stupid exhaust ports face each other - so good luck there and Siamese the throttle bodies - which wont fit in the space between the V … yea just dumb Harley copy design. Atleast they put 2 manifolds and 2 throttle bodies and 2 injectors so one cyl can suck the mixture out of the other like in a true Y manifold and 1 throttle body.

4 days?
It's the bid at 4 seconds that bumps you.
I got my little GT80 on a last second bump.
It's exciting when you're the bumper and not the bumped.
