Any of you guys in the US even seen a Motus in the wild?

I’ve followed their progress at a (transatlantic!) distance for years’, right from when they posted videos of the pre-pre-production bikes on YouTube. Every now and again they get a mention in the U.K. bike press too.

I just came across the following Revzilla article on Twitter, and it reignited my interest - not that I’d ever be able to afford one....and that’s even if they were available here! >:)

Jeeezz!!!! Way to shut a brother down! I did not know that. What a **** shame.....from that story on Revzilla, sounded like a great enterprise, and a great bike.

Shame.

Sorry 'bout that, mate!:frown2: I literally read the latest article and then saw your post 2 minutes afterward. There was a time I had talked myself into a Buell. Those I could afford and somehow didn't quite get to own one before they went under. At least I got to demo their whole line & meet Mr. Buell before it happened.

Yeah, weird coincidence I saw that story then, as I don’t think Revzilla had yet reported Motus’ closure at that time.

I’ve always liked Buells - esp. the older tube-framed Buells (Cyclones etc). Never ridden one tho. I actually had a chance to pick up a nice Cyclone a few years ago, but didn’t have the cash at the time. Theres a pretty hardcore group of Buell aficionados over here tho.

Here's my penpal BJ Carr's Buell. She worked at a HD shop, so I imagine that Sportster engine had a few hidden goodies going on. =)

That’s what I’m talking about - there’s really something about those early tubers.

Something that's been bugging me: does Buell rhyme with "fuel" or "dwell" or neither?
It does rhyme with Neither.

Like so-

There was once an old man with a buell,
Who said I'll challenge you to a Duell

Then he took his coin jar
And gave the $ to her --------- (he he he lets see what choppercharles says to that one)

and said told ya buell rhymes with Neither.

I've never been a fan of poetry until I joined this forum! 🤓
