Hiya, and welcome.Hey everyone, been perusing the forum for a little while looking at all the things I want to do with my new SCR 950 that I just purchased recently. There are quite a few things I have planned now, but I would like one of my first upgrades to be replacing the seat. While I do really enjoy the look of it, the flat bench seat is just not working out for me. I would like something that has an actual spot for you to sit, and not long flat seat that it has or like the Corbin that I keep seeing. With the wind resistance on this bike at 60+ mph I almost feel like I'm gonna start sliding backwards. I found a picture here of a seat that a mod posted that looks so awesome plus it has an actual spot for you to sit in, and I'm wondering if anyone has some advice on how to acquire a seat like it for my bike. I am new to bikes overall so I'm not too sure where to even start. Here is a pic of the seat so you can get an idea of what I'm looking at. Any advice is welcome. Thank you!

The above is also a Corbin, which someone had them custom make for them. He details it on this thread here:
Corbin seat for the SCR!
Corbin just finished up their new saddle for the scr950... I think it’s gorgeous.... check it here http://corbin.com/yamaha/yscr95g.shtml I’ll be testing the new saddle this weekend and will post a review...
I’m sure they could make another, were you to ask them.
I had something similar knocked up by a local seat maker:
