Looking ahead at 6 months of blustery, cold, and wet weather in the Pacific Northwest, I'll have to make do with wintertime maintenance, and reliving the wonder rides of this past summer. We've lots forest service roads in my area. Many I haven't yet explored.

On the lift for some reason or other:

Road to nowhere:

Reprieve from rain:

Scramblin' in the mountains:

I've since added some bullet signals on rear fender, but more or less what the rear looks like.

I feel your pain, brother! We had a great summer and fall here in Minnesota, but now Ol Man Winter is here for the next 6 months as well. Thanks for sharing your pics. I'm jealous of your fire roads! Jevers
I feel very fortunate to have those fire roads around here. A lot of great rides, right out my front door. I don't take it for granted.

During the winter, the heavens will open up a few times and we'll get some warmish days and I can typically sneak in some rides. I don't like riding when it's too cold, and I hate riding when it's wet. Too many close calls. But, in Minnesota, I'm guessing you just put your bikes away till spring!

I personally don’t put my bikes away until spring. If it is 20° F and sunny AND the roads are dry, I will ride. Heck, the winter of 06-07 I put on over 3,000 miles from Dec 6th to Feb 1st! This helps to stave off cabin fever 🤒!

I captured this photo of Jay last winter leaving his favorite pub.
