Bought a 2024 Suzuki DR650. Did the factory part flip to lower the suspension.

Found that the SCR950 front fork boots fit the DR650 when you do this factory suspension lowering on a DR650.
Stock Suzuki boots look silly once lowered, one boot in picture on front tire.
Before you ask Schu that 214 is Vanguard swapped...been watching that "Tennessee Mountain HomeStead" guy on youtube.

Ha ha. Yes I would've asked. Who wouldn't ask when you see anything red on a John Deere. Hence the decal modification to OH DEERE.

I have a 2014 dr650.
They're a good bike, I have a Ricor shock, fork inserts and stiffer fork springs in mine. It eats up pot holes and bad pavement like the bumps arent there, kinda of the opposite of the SCR lol.
If I ever get rid of my DR it will be for a tenere or other big adv bike, the roads are quite rough by my place now, cruiser style bikes like the SCR suck here.

Thru the Procycle catalog at it. The emission stuff is all there, but it ain't working.
Springs changed, carb kit in, US Made DG RST exhaust, dual bearing rear sprocket carrier with poly cush drive. Header weld ground.
TEMU handguards and grips because wow quality and dirt cheap. Plus ex wife works for Amazon near Schu so I quit supporting that business. lol
RMZ 450 front fender. Used a Yamaha ATV petcock to get rid of the Suzuki vacuum controlled petcock. So up to 2 Yamaha parts.
7 miles on it and couldn't test drive it tonight after build/rain.

She gonne be a wild ride. Needs a song.

Did you know this single cylinder engine has 2 spark plugs Schu and will barely run on one? Put dual electrode plugs in both holes.
Foot peg mounts were annoying with the rubber bushings inside. Home Depot "ACB" washers on both sides with a copper spacer on the front to "squish" the rubber bushing foot peg mounts solid.
First motorcycle I ever bought with squishy foot peg mounts.

I put large washers on my foot peg mounts, they're big enough to hit the metal beside the rubber bushing, making them solid.
I did a ton of mods to the bike but it's been 7 years so I forget half of the little things I done to it lol.
I went the cheap exhaust route. Dan moto pipe but ditched the dan moto muffler for a 2018 gsxr 600 muffler. The dan moto muffler was stupid loud, the gsxr muffler sounds pretty good without being super loud.

Life events...Proctor & Gamble sent sister (HQ here in Cincinnati) to Canada to shut down a factory so no idea what the DG exhaust even sounds like. lol. Got stuck babysitting her dog for a week.
Still only has 7 miles on it. hahaha. Canadians(Quebec) were stealing so much chemicals they are moving their factory outta Canada hahahahaha

Happy as shee it Canada losing jobs.
